Apple iPad 2, iPhone 4 Glasses-free 3D Display
This is interesting iPad fans! Two researchers in France have managed to develop Glasses-Free 3D Technology for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4. Yeah this is no joke! They managed to do it with the help of head-tracking technology using the iPad 2 front camera, the researchers successfully displays 3D objects on the iPad’s display.
 Jeremie Francone and Laurence Nigay are the mad genius behind this from EHCI research group at the Grenoble Informatics Laboratory. This new technology is so sophisticated that it does not even requires any hardware or anything else for displaying 3D content except for a front facing camera. We can say that it basically turns the camera into a Kinect-style sensor. However the technology is in its early stage but it gives an idea that many other devices can deliver glasses-free 3D experience without specialized screens.
