4:00 PM Google+ to launch google apps & support fake names
Google has announced that within the next few days, Google+ will see integration of Google Apps for businesses, enterprises & educational institutes. Google SVP for social, Vic Gundotra announced during the Web 2.0 summit in San Fransisco about the support for this widely requested feature in g+. He said that Google had not launched support for Apps at the time of launch because the company thought they would have more time for this integration. However, Google+ performed way better than expected, & thus propelled them for early release of this integration. Gundotra also waved away a bunch of critics by announcing that soon Google+ will support pseudonyms. Users around the globe had complained about Google’s strict naming policy that restricts users from choosing a fake name for their g+ profile. Google+ currently allows you to keep your real name on your g+ profile, but will soon allow fake names.
