How to Reset LINKSYS modem to Regain User Interface

Turn off your computer. 2. Unplug or turn off your DSL/cable modem.  3. Locate, on the back of your Linksys router, the small button that reads Reset  4. While pressing the Reset button, turn on/plug in router. Hold for 30 seconds.  5. You may need to open up the Web-based Setup page from your PC. Open up your browser and go to http://192.168.1.1/ -- this is your router's default IP address. You may be prompted for an administrator login. The default username and password are "admin" and "admin". Go to status, and release or renew the DHCP until you get an IP address from your Internet Service Provider.  | |
