5 Superb Ways to Speed Up Your Computer and Perform Faster
Many people most often check their Blog’s Status, Caching, Speed, Performance.. for a sake of their Blog’s Health. But what about your Computer/Laptop ? As far I’ve made an estimation, almost 65% of people don’t check their system’s usage and performance. For them I want to say, a Healthy Computer = Healthy Blogging :)

People most probably watch movies, videos, listen songs, play games without considering the health of your system; The main capsule for your system’s performance is it’s speed. If your system hangs or halts too much then it may create disturbances during your Blogging or Personal Usage. Too much hang results in the system dump of your system in which you’ll loose some of your unsaved data and serious halts may lead to the corrupt of your OS. Here are some killer ways to speed up your computer dramatically!

You need not need to call an engineer to speed up your computer or check for any system errors. Once you get acquainted with your computer functioning (which involved basic knowledge) you can create and solve your own problems. ;)  These includes simple steps which is beneficial for performing your computer more faster. Check out

1. Disable Unnecessary Auto-Start Programs

You might have noticed when you start  or Login into Windows, many programs start up automatically like your Antivirus (of course), Google Talk and other Messengers, Nokia Suite, Microsoft Office Loader, Adobe Reader Quick Launch etc. These are some commonly used programs which run automatically with windows start up. You need to keep in mind that the lesser your Icons in the Taskbar, the more faster your computer will load during start up.

Speed Up Computer

Use any utility tool, like Tune Up Utilities which is the best for computer maintenance. It has been my loyal mate since years in tuning up my system. Through this utility you can disable the programs which are not necessary during the Logon. You can enable them if you needed them in future!

2. Free up Disk Space

This is another main reason which gradually slower down your system due to low disk space. People usually install hell-a-lot of applications and programs into their drives especially into their System Drive in which the OS is installed. By default it is C:\ drive in Windows.

Free Up Disk Space

You can use Disk Cleanup manager to clean up disks and free some space or you can use the above mentioned utility tool, TuneUp which also includes Gain Disk Space Function to delete your unnecessary files and free up some space. Cleaning up your computer disk space could save you more spaces for other tasks, and it can also help increase your PC’s performance exponentially.

 3. Remove Temporary Internet Files

Temporary Internet Files is a folder on windows which holds browser caches. Each time a user visits a website using Internet Explorer, files downloaded with each web page (including HTML, Images, CSS and JavaScript scripts) are saved to the Temporary Internet Files folder, creating a cache of the web page on the local computer’s hard disk, or other form of digital data storage.

Delete Temporary Internet Files

These files could also be the reason for your computer’s ill performance. Whenever you experienced slow speed internet connection on your machine- all you need to do is to remove the temporary files on your machine to increase its performance. Simply visit to this location from your computer -

C:\Users\UserProfile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

(where UserProfile is your windows login/user account name)

Go to the above location and simply delete all the temporary internet files which will dramatically help in speeding up your computer.

4. Always Empty the Recycle Bin

People most probably delete the items from their computer and send them directly to the recycle bin rather than deleting them permanently. And those items remain for long as you most often forget to empty your recycle bin.

It is like a junk folder for all deleted files for it takes up huge space from your Local Disk Windows Drive. So it should be always cleared or you can simply delete the files permanently without sending them to the bin. Press "Shift+Del” rather than only "Del” to remove them permanently from your computer!

5. Trash Downloaded Program Files

You must be surely saving the setup file of a software that you downloaded for future use. Of course you do, everybody does. Many people do a collection of software’s which they circulate to the needy ones and keep it for themselves for any further use. But these files sum up a huge amount of space which can be used for any other useful purpose.

Sometimes keeping these files are too risky because if once your system gets attacked with a Malware then it infects all your executable (.exe) files and it will start creating shortcuts and folders which are nothing but malicious programs. Hence your system gets down with viral injection and you have to quarantine which ultimately removes them.

Summary :

You really don’t need to format or seek help from any expert to make your computer work faster. Simple tweaks and proper maintenance can give you a blazing fast system with no backfires ;) These methods have already been implemented and proved as working which therefore increases your computer’s performance and speeds up, making it work more faster!
